August 22, 2009 - Discovery Channel and "Gracie and the Atom" updates
Discovery Channel has tentatively scheduled “Under New York” to air on September 24th. That’s the show I co-hosted about New York City’s water supply. We crawled through tunnels, biked down trails, and kayaked down rapids to follow the water from the Catskills to NYC faucets. We were even attacked by bats. I had some serious bruises after filming - it was a wild ride!
In Gracie news, we are halfway through auditions. I saw such gorgeous singers and incredible actors at the first auditions…got chills as I saw our cast come together. The perfect Gracie showed up (can’t say who yet!) I’m so excited about this musical coming to life on stage in April 2010. I’m lining up an incredible band, too. The best musicians I know are willing to jump into this with me. Stay tuned!
February 10, 2009 - Show Coming Up on March 21st
I'll be playing all the songs from "Gracie and the Atom" with an incredible band at The Wonder Ballroom on 3/21. Many of the guys on the CD will be with me that night and some of the cast from the workshop will be there to sing backup and duets with me. We'll perform the songs in the order they appear in the play so you can follow the story. Best of all, DIRTY MARTINI will play after me.

February 9, 2009 - "Gracie and the Atom" workshop at ART
The workshop for "Gracie and the Atom" at Artists Repertory Theater was so helpful. Thanks to a wonderful cast and to all the people who came and gave me feedback about the songs and the script. I have so many ideas now about how it can be BETTER! I will keep everyone posted on the future of Gracie. I can tell you it looks very good!
December 14, 2008 - Gracie Rehearsals and Discovery Adventures

I have two more shooting days with Discovery Channel for the "Hidden Cities" pilot. I don't know air dates yet, but will post them here when I do. It's been an adventure. I flipped a kayak in a river, explored a tunnel with bats flying at my head, and got some impressive bruises on a mountain bike...all in upstate NY's watershed. The city itself wasn't dangerous at all. I was always thrilled to be back in my hotel room with heat. And no bats.
September 21, 2008 - Discovery Channel Pilot
I just got back from NYC where I met with the production team for a Discovery Channel pilot that I and another engineer will host. We shoot in October and it should air the beginning of '09. The team is fantastic, the co-host is funny and brilliant and it's going to be a kick making it. I'm officially Nerd Girl now that I have a musical about physics and will be explaining laminar and turbulent flow to the world on TV.
May 23, 2008 - Welcome!
I have just finished recording 12 songs for a musical I've written about physics, God, Catholic school, and death. It's hilarious. I promise.
The CD will be out in fall of 2008. I'm working with Artist's Rep Theatre in Portland to develop the play for a new works festival in January 2009. If all goes well, ART will put it in their fall 09 schedule.
