I’m going to Washington DC tomorrow to shoot the first episode of a new History Channel series. I’m one of the hosts. That’s about all I can tell you, but I promise it’s going to be really cool. It’s scheduled to air in late October 2010.

On June 14, 2010 the Portland theater awards (The Drammys) awarded “Gracie and the Atom” Best Original Score and Best Choreography. Thank you Drammys!

The opening night at Artists Repertory Theater in Portland, OR was a huge success.

“Gracie and the Atom” runs through May 30th, 2010. I am looking for the next theater for this musical

about life, death, physics, and Catholic school. Check out this video of the writing, rehearsing, and

Artists Repertory Theater in Portland, OR has received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for its production of “Gracie and the Atom.” The show opens on April 27, 2010 with an incredible cast, band, and director.

The Oregonian, after seeing the workshop production, says “(Gracie) has an intriguing core idea, a lovely pop score, and oodles of intelligence and wit.”

“Under New York” to air on Discovery Channel September 4th

It’s official! Discovery Channel will air “Under New York” at 7 pm on Friday, 9/4. Tune in and watch me risk my life in the New York City water system. You won’t get to see me and the other host flipping our kayak in the freezing rapids, but you will get to hear me scream like a little girl when a bat flies into my head.

Hey! It was a BAT! You’d scream too!

Discovery Channel and “Gracie and the Atom” Updates!

Discovery Channel has tentatively scheduled “Under New York” to air on September 24th. That’s the show I co-hosted about New York City’s water supply. We crawled through tunnels, biked down trails, and kayaked down rapids to follow the water from the Catskills to NYC faucets. We were even attacked by bats. I had some serious bruises after filming - it was a wild ride!

In Gracie news, we are halfway through auditions. I saw such gorgeous singers and incredible actors at the first auditions…got chills as I saw our cast come together. The perfect Gracie showed up (can’t say who yet!) I’m so excited about this musical coming to life on stage in April 2010. I’m lining up an incredible band, too. The best musicians I know are willing to jump into this with me. Check out the video of us in the recording studio working on the music. Stay tuned!

I’m spending most of my time in LA and will soon be playing shows down here. Some very nice people in the TV/film world are helping me out with song placements while I work on new songs for “Gracie and the Atom.”

I’m running in the canyons, swimming in the ocean, seeing great shows, and loving it here!

Artists Repertory Theater in Portland, OR has just announced they are going to produce “Gracie and the Atom” next season. It will open April, 2010! I am in the process of improving the script and writing more songs after a successful 2009 Fertile Ground workshop.
